What Happens Next

Step 1: The Free Discovery Call (15 minutes)

We'll have a relaxed conversation. You tell me what brings you here, what you're hoping to address. I listen without judgement. We explore whether therapy with me feels like a good fit. No pressure, no obligation.

Step 2: First Session (if you choose to continue)

If we both feel it's a good match, we'll schedule your first session. This is where we go deeper. You'll share more about your story, what you're struggling with, what you're hoping to change. We'll begin to understand what brought you here.

Step 3: Ongoing Therapy

If you decide to continue, we'll work together on a regular schedule. Most people find weekly sessions most effective. We'll move at your pace, explore what needs exploring, and build the understanding and tools you need to move forward.

There's no rush, no pressure. Therapy works best when both people are genuinely committed to the process.

Questions Before You Get Started

What happens on the discovery call?+

The free 15-minute discovery call is a relaxed conversation. You tell me what brings you here, what you're hoping to address, and a bit about your situation. I listen, ask clarifying questions, and we explore whether therapy with me feels like a good fit. There's no pressure, and no obligation to continue. It's just us getting to know each other.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?+

No referral is needed. You can contact me directly to book your discovery call. Some people do have referrals from their GP or another healthcare provider, which can be helpful for Medicare claims, but it's not required to start therapy with me.

What if I change my mind?+

It's completely okay to change your mind. If after the discovery call you decide I'm not the right fit, that's fine—there's no judgement. If you've started sessions and realise you need someone else, we can talk about it. Therapy is about finding the right match, and that's okay if it's not me.

From Bendigo (via Calder Freeway — ~45 min) +

Head south-east on the Calder Freeway (M79). Take the Kyneton exit and follow the signs into town. Turn right onto High Street and continue towards the town centre. Pass the Kyneton Botanic Gardens and the Campaspe River bridge. Number 29 is on High Street, close to the Piper Street intersection.
