We'll have a relaxed conversation. You tell me what brings you here, what you're hoping to address. I listen without judgement. We explore whether therapy with me feels like a good fit. No pressure, no obligation.
If we both feel it's a good match, we'll schedule your first session. This is where we go deeper. You'll share more about your story, what you're struggling with, what you're hoping to change. We'll begin to understand what brought you here.
If you decide to continue, we'll work together on a regular schedule. Most people find weekly sessions most effective. We'll move at your pace, explore what needs exploring, and build the understanding and tools you need to move forward.
There's no rush, no pressure. Therapy works best when both people are genuinely committed to the process.
The free 15-minute discovery call is a relaxed conversation. You tell me what brings you here, what you're hoping to address, and a bit about your situation. I listen, ask clarifying questions, and we explore whether therapy with me feels like a good fit. There's no pressure, and no obligation to continue. It's just us getting to know each other.
No referral is needed. You can contact me directly to book your discovery call. Some people do have referrals from their GP or another healthcare provider, which can be helpful for Medicare claims, but it's not required to start therapy with me.
It's completely okay to change your mind. If after the discovery call you decide I'm not the right fit, that's fine—there's no judgement. If you've started sessions and realise you need someone else, we can talk about it. Therapy is about finding the right match, and that's okay if it's not me.
Video sessions available wherever you are. I use Signal for its strong privacy protections — if you don't already have it, it's a free download. Zoom is also available. All the same quality of therapy, from the comfort of your own space.
Everything you share in therapy is completely confidential. I'm bound by professional codes of ethics and legal obligations to keep your information private. The only exceptions are if you disclose intent to harm yourself or others, or abuse of a child—in which case I'm legally required to report.
Your wellbeing, your privacy, and your autonomy matter. You can trust that what you share stays between us.
Get in touch if you'd like to talk.
